Clandestine Laboratory Investigation Update
Course Description
- This 36-hour course is for officers assigned to a narcotic investigation unit. This course will provide the necessary information to safely and productively investigate clandestine laboratory operations. This course is a prerequisite for the Clandestine Laboratory Safety Certification course.
Who Should Attend
- Peace officers assigned to full-time narcotic investigation units.
Course Objectives
- At the completion of the course, the attendees will have received the information and techniques to safely conduct investigations of persons/organizations involved in the manufacture of controlled substances. This course does not certify the attendee to be in, or conduct clandestine laboratory sampling, evidence collection, or processing.
