Specialized Surveillance Equipment

Course Description

- This 36-hour course instructs peace officers in the use, maintenance and selection of covert surveillance equipment. This course includes a night-time exercise.

Who Should Attend

- Officers who are assigned surveillance responsibilities.

Course Objectives

- Upon completion of this course, the student will have a working knowledge of various types of surveillance equipment and techniques; will understand the capabilities and limitations of the equipment; and will be acquainted with problems inherent to covert surveillance.
