CONTINUOUS FILING OPEN EXAMINATIONS
If you meet the minimum qualifications for a position listed below and would like to pursue a career at the Attorney General’s Office, California Department of Justice, you can be notified when testing is scheduled by submitting an Examination Request Form.
Examinations are scheduled as needed. After taking a scheduled examination, you would be placed on an "eligible list" from which we are able to make hiring decisions.
Since eligibility lists apply only to positions in specific locations, you will want to carefully note details in the examination bulletin. Click on the job titles below to view minimum qualifications, the specific location of the position, examination location and other information.
NOTE: If a cut-off date is shown for a continuous filing exam, submission of the form after that date will not be accepted for the current examination, but will be held for the next scheduled examination.

Applicants must have a permanent civil service appointment with the Office of the Attorney General, Department of Justice. Applicants not meeting promotional requirements will not be admitted to the examination. Exams are scheduled as needed by the Office of the Attorney General, Department of Justice. NOTE: If a cut-off date is shown for a continuous filing exam, submission of the applications after that date will not be accepted for the current examination, but will be held for the next scheduled examination.
