Beverage Container Recycling Anti-Fraud Program
Through support from the state Department of Conservation, the Department of Conservation Program protects the California Beverage Container Recycling Fund from fraudulent claims. The team's primary objective is to detect and stop existing fraud by organized criminal groups against the recycling fund and to deter future fraud through the successful prosecution of criminal activity.
