Polygraph Unit
The experts in the Polygraph Unit respond to law enforcement requests for polygraph services throughout California on a variety of cases - generally those of a violent nature. Hundreds of examinations are conducted annually, and CBI polygraph examiners are often able to obtain a high percentage of confessions in the cases they are assigned. Polygraph examiners are assigned out of the Sacramento Regional Office.
