UNSOLICITED FAXES
Unsolicited fax advertisements are prohibited under federal law by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). A new state law took effect on January 1, 2003 clarifying that California law is governed by the federal ban.
We are interested in receiving any information you have indicating that companies are violating California's law that bans unsolicited fax advertisements. If you receive unsolicited fax advertisements from any company, please fill-out a complaint form attach it to the advertisement, and mail or fax both to:

Upon receipt, your complaint will be forwarded to the attorneys in our Consumer Law Section working on this issue.
